In this world, there are two types of people: those who let things happen and those who make it happen. Throughout my life I’ve made it abundantly clear that I am one who makes things happen.
Since I was 3 years old singing solos in the church choir, it was evident my place was to create a new world through music. From entering high school and local talent showcases to winning 'battle of the bands' and headlining shows around town; I began to develop a fan base. Thanks to the great people within that fan base, my music can now be heard on local radio stations and all over the world through iTunes and Google Play Store!
Kicking off 2013 in a major way, I delivered The Shockers Anthem
, which debuted on Wichita’s Channel 96.3! Serving as the monumental ode to the 'black and gold’, the Anthem commanded the air waves as the Shockers carried our city to the Final 4! This was a huge step in my career because The Shockers Anthem
now serves as a musical symbol of hope. That fact in mind, I can’t help but feel a bit responsible for giving the team a reason to play harder, the fans a reason to cheer louder, and the great city of Wichita a reason to stand together.
In my career as a musician, I have proved time and again that even though the odds aren't always in your favor and doors get shut in your face, there will always be a new opportunity around the corner. As my journey unfolds, I truly hope that my music will continue to inspire my fans to always chase their dreams and never give up!
